Serial Auto Switch 2->1 NP
The SWB0213 is a Serial Auto Switch that will operate in two computers to one printer mode, called 2 to 1 mode. These switches operate without software drivers and deliver print jobs to the printer on a first come, first served basis. This means that if one computer is printing to the printer the other computer must wait for the Auto Switch to finish the current print job.

Features:
  • Can be set to manual select or auto select.
  • Timeout can be set to 10 or 60 seconds.
  • Modem (Straight-M1371) cables connect from computer to box.
  • Printer (Null modem-M2162) cable connects from box to printer.
External power supply is not required since the box can be powered by the RS232 signals, but an external power source may be needed in a few cases, if it is needed, the ADA090201 would work.
