This adapter uses a logic circuit to combine the sync signals for connecting to most DB13W3 monitors (Sun or Silicon Graphics). This is not guaranteed to work with all monitors.

If your connecting one of the following monitors; Sun GDM-17E, Sun GDM-20D, or Silicon Graphics GDM-20E21, then you'll want to use the L5296 instead of this L5224.
